Apple beats expectations with all-time record sales

When Apple announced the arrival of iPhone 4S we heard many dissapointed voices saying "Apple no longer has a leading edge" but today they have yet proven that they hold the competitive edge. Apple today announced some incredible numbers all exceeding expectations.  Apple reports first quarter results : Highest Quarterly Revenue and earnings. All-time Record iphone, ipad and Mac Sales.

Let's take a look at the sales numbers during the quarter:

• 37.04 million iPhones 
• 15.43 million iPads
• 5.2 million Macs 
• 15.4 million iPods
• generated $ 17.5 million cash flow

These amazing numbers have a great lift on the stock price with a 10% increase since they have released the numbers. Apple still has a lot to offer as they are planning to revolutionise the education market with their ibooks 2.
