IDC released the top five smartphone vendors in the world.

According to IDC, the worldwide smartphone market grew 54.7% year over year in the fourth quarter of 2011. This growth was driven by  Apple's iPhone 4S release into the marketplace. The leaders in the market are Nokia (27.6 %) and Apple (15.9%).
